Building a party to celebrate surviving the virus.
The goal is to throw a continuous musical party for 48 hours over the last weekend in August. A camp-out and jam session. Friends and friends of friends and family. Local (SW Washington mostly) musicians tired of being isolated with no place to play are invited to join
Join us in a special music-led "Thank You" event for Matthew Wells, a dedicated promoter of music in Aberdeen and the Harbor area. Thanks to his reporting in The Daily World, we have witnessed a surge in gigs, events, and the opening of new venues!
Please join us on December 15th from 6pm to 10pm at Messy Jessy's upstairs, located at 212 South I Street in Aberdeen. Take this opportunity to tell Matt how much you appreciate his reporting, not just on music, but on a wide range of interesting topics covered in the newspaper. It is important for us to recognize and celebrate good journalism and the positive impact he has had!
This event is open to all ages and has no cover charge!
In addition to the evening of music, we will also be holding a drawing for a fantastic Yamaha Electric Stratocaster guitar, recently signed by Kurdt Vanderhoof of Metal Church. No purchase is necessary to enter.
The night will feature a diverse lineup of live performances by talented artists including:
- Speedball Devils
- Black Shepard
- The Bad And The Ugly
- A Lien Nation
- Hollow Hound
- Ty Wulf
- Collin Gage
